In Linux Mint, the Solaar package is available to do this job.

This was initially confusing the issue for me.Ģ) Since I don't own any MS Windows machines any more, I needed to find a means to pair a new mouse with the existing transceiver. Since my devices were paired when the unit was running Windows 7, the pairing persisted thru the conversion to Linux. Here are a few findings:ġ) the pairing of mouse or keyboard and the USB tranceiver seems to survive power cycling and rebooting. I tried a few thing with no success, then started to research this problem.

So I broke out a spare mouse, and powered it up, but no recognition. Recently my wife's mouse became erratic, with the button switches not always registering. Both use a Logitech Mouse/Keyboard combo, MK320, which combines a K330 keyboard, an M215 mouse, and a USB Unifying tranceiver. I have 2 computers running Linux Mint 19.3 at home, one Lenovo laptop, and one Intel NUC. Unfortunately, Logitech only builds software for Windows and Mac, not Linux.

Now that I have retired, I have expunged MS products from all my computers. Initially, I was using MS Windows, as my job necessitated running certain software not available elsewhere. I have been using Logitech wireless devices for years, with good success.
